Τhe musical legacy of the Disney Animation comes to life with the soundtrack releases under the “The Legacy Collection” label, which features classic Disney animation music from the past, in brand new remastered and expanded editions. Some of the previews releases were “The Lion King”, “Pocahontas”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Toy Story” & “Fantasia” among others. The latest release is “Beauty and the Beast” (1991), the Alan Menken & Howard Ashman mutual triumph at the Oscars and the Golden Globes.

The 2 CD soundtrack release is available on both physical and digital formats and includes unreleased before demos, aside from the complete score of the film and the full list of the songs. The twenty page booklet features newly written notes by the composer Alan Menken and unique newly created artwork. Beauty and the Beast – The Legacy Collection is released by Walt Disney Records on February 9, 2018.
